John J. Caulfield (1984)

pat passed some time ago, from a car crash. from what i remember, it was on 95,and he hit a wall. he survived in the hospital for about a week. he had swelling on the brain, and never woke up. i thought for sure he would make it,because he was one tuff cookie.it suprized me he left us. i wasnt a great friend of pat's ,but we both grew up in the same place. i partied with him often, he would walk around with his beer and socialize with everyone. seems everyone knew him,and if he knew you ,he'd allways have your back. thats the kind of guy he was. he had a paticular way of greeting you at parties. he would bump into you on you beer hand side, and spill your beer. man, that used to piss me off. he'd have the biggest smile on his face when he did it too. that was pat, kinda a prankster. he did this to all his friends. i dont know why i never saw it coming, but it is a fond memory of him now. he really was a bull of a guy,and surprizingly fast for his size. we played football often, and he ran me over more times than i could count. he quite often would knock a guy out of a game on a block. like i said ,one tuff cookie, but he was just playing the game. i think he was a good person, and i miss the big paluka. peace to you my brother!!!!!

News to me but, like you John I have many a memory of Pat too. Playing football, hanging out and partying. He was taken way too soon. Rest in peace Pat.
