Lawrence Paul Stroup, Jr., age 56, of Willow Grove, passed away on Thursday March 13, 2025 at his home in Upper Moreland Township. Born in Philadelphia, Larry was a longtime resident of Lower Bucks County prior to recently moving to Willow Grove. He was a graduate of Bensalem High School and a graduate of Pennco Tech. Larry was employed as a Technician in the I.T. Field. He enjoyed playing darts and crabbing with his friends and his cars. Beloved son of Nancy C. (Devlin) McFadden and Lawrence Paul Stroup, Sr., he is also survived by his brothers Jeffrey H (Sheryl) Stroup, Gregory E. (Amy) Stroup, his stepbrother Sean (Dawn) McFadden, his stepsister Colleen (Jim) Orr, his nieces and nephews Sean, Taylor, Michele, Tom, Nick, Robert, Indie Maura, Connor, Alex and Steven, and Aunts, Uncles and cousins. Larry was preceded in death by his stepFather Richard R. McFadden. Family and friends are invited to attend his Life Celebration on Friday March 21, 2025 at the Beck Givnish Funeral Home 7400 New Falls Rd. Levittown, Pa. 19055 from 10:00 am to 12 noon. His memorial service will be held at 12 noon. Interment will be private. Memorial contributions to the Philadelphia SPCA at pspca.org Would be appreciated by the family.
