In Memory

Kym Cohen - Class Of 1988

Kym Cohen

Kimberly Ayne 'Kym' Cohen passed away Friday, Oct. 7, 2016 at Aria Torresdale Hospital. She was 45.

She was born in Philadelphia and had been a longtime Bensalem resident. Kym was a published writer of poetry and short stories. She was accomplished at many things including modeling, standup comedy, acting (she had a small part in the Sixth Sense), writing movie scripts, making commercials and singing karaoke even when she was bald from chemo.

Kym only wanted to see the good in others. She installed a hope in all the people she met with her courage and fighting spirit against her illness. She touched hundreds of people all over the world on Facebook; please see her Facebook page for the posts that have been made since she died.

Kym is survived by her loving parents, Harvey and Serena Cohen, and her brother, Keith Andrew Cohen.

Family and friends will be received from 12:30 to 1 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 16 at the chapel at Rosedale Memorial Park, 3850 Richlieu Rd., Bensalem, PA 19020, followed by her memorial service at 1 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Kym's name may be made at www.gofundme.com/kymacohen.James O. Bradley Funeral Home, Penndel
