Richard John Weisbrod II

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Richard John Weisbrod II, aged 53, of Levittown, Pennsylvania, who left us on February 22, 2026. Born on March 30, 1972, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Richard was a beloved husband, father, son, and devoted public servant whose life was marked by passion and dedication.

Richard's career in law enforcement spanned many years, beginning with a decade of service as a Police Officer in Bristol Township. He later became a Detective in the Vehicular Crimes Unit in Tempe, Arizona, where he was able to fulfill his lifelong dream of riding motorcycles every day as part of his job. Richard’s career brought him to serve as a Supervisory Special Agent in the Insurance Fraud Division for the Attorney General of the State of Pennsylvania for the last 10 years. His commitment to serving his community and protecting the public was evident in every aspect of his work.

A proud member of the Blue Knights, Richard’s love for motorcycles was more than just a hobby; it was a way of life that allowed him to connect with others and enjoy the open road. His adventurous spirit and warm personality endeared him to friends, colleagues, and family alike.

Richard is survived by his loving spouse of 28 years, Kim Weisbrod (nee Wilsbach), his father Richard Weisbrod, and his two cherished sons, Cortland Richard Weisbrod and Brett Griffin Weisbrod, as well as his many friends and his brothers in blue. He will be remembered for his unwavering love and support, his sense of humor, and his indomitable spirit. Richard was preceded in death by his mother, Carol Weisbrod.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Richard’s viewing at the Tomlinson Funeral Home, 2207 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, Pa 19020, on Sunday, March 1, 2026, from 10:00 AM-12:00 PM followed by his service at 12:00 PM. Interment will be private.

In this time of profound loss, we reflect on the memories we shared with Richard and celebrate the impact he had on all our lives. May his spirit find peace, and may we honor his legacy by cherishing each other a little more, just as he would have wished.
