Mark D. DeChellis

Mark D. DeChellis, of Langhorne, PA died on Wednesday, December 25, 2024 at the age of 47.

Born in Bristol, PA on January 10, 1977, he was the son of Bruce Tate and the late Michelle DeChellis Tate. He attended Bensalem High School, competing in both cross country and track and field. He subsequently attended the Aviation Institute of Maintenance. He and his wife, Patricia Olympia DeChellis, enjoyed seventeen years of marriage. 

Mark was well-known for his kindness, his ability to make friends with anyone he just met, his sense of humor, and his uncanny ability to make those around him feel at ease. He was also known for his love of the Dallas Cowboys, Fantasy Football, and playing video games. However, it is Mark's role as a loving and devoted Father that he will be remembered for most.

Mark is preceded in death by his mother, Michelle Tate; his maternal grandmother, Patricia DeChellis; and his paternal grandfather, Thomas Schillings.

In addition to his loving wife, Patty, Mark is survived by his children, Lotus and Grant DeChellis; his father, Bruce Tate; his siblings, Garrett Schillings, Jason Tate, Jackie Ethridge and her husband, Jeremy; and the Olympia family and Maria Lopez.

Family and friends are invited to attend Visitation with the family on Sunday, January 5, 2025 at 1:00pm, followed by his Funeral Service at 2:00pm at Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown Richboro Rd (at Holland Rd), Richboro, PA 18954.  His interment will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to Humane Animal Partners of Delaware.
