Matthew P. Kaufman, 47 years old, was born December 5, 1978 and passed away Saturday, January 17, 2026.  Born in Woodbury, N.J., he graduated from Bensalem High School in P.A. Afterwards, he attended Penn State and later, Raritan Community College in New Jersey. He spent alot of his free time in New Jersey hiking the trails, skating and supporting his beloved New Jersey Devils. He loved restoring his Eclipse, building/fixing computers, reading, and hanging out with his good friends and family (especially his two nieces). Professionally, Matt wore many hats, including as a district manager for Dunkin Donuts, a mover with Ace, and most recently as an associate at Lowes Hardware. On the side, Matt was an assistant hockey coach for the 2006 Seahawks Bantam B team and was his family's main I.T. hotline, mechanic and holiday pie maker. We will always remember your amazing bear hugs, laughter, sense of humor, competitiveness and your enthusiasm for all things New Jersey, your car and NJ Devils related.

He was preceded in death by his father Wesley, his grandparents Florence and Joseph, Kathryn and William, his stepfather Jim, Uncles Joel, Michael and Joseph, and his best friend Sean.

He is survived by his mother Lynne, sisters Michelle, Melissa, Melinda (Shaquan) and Melody (Randy), nieces Hannah and Aaliyah, aunts and cousins and his good friends Mike and Steve.

His ashes will be scattered throughout his favorite park in New Jersey at a later date yet to be determined, and all who knew him are welcome to join us to celebrate his life.

There will not be a day that goes by where we do not think of Minivan Mafia Member #2. We will miss you always Fats McGee, Matty, Matt, Clark, Uncle Matty, Grizzly Mattams, Son.
