Donna Jean Swangler, age 45 of Langhorne, PA passes away peacefully on Sunday, June 29, 2024 at Jefferson Torresdale Hospital in Philadelphia. Born in Bristol, PA, Donna lived in Bensalem for eight years prior to moving to Langhorne four years ago.
She had been very active in helping thousands of individuals receive their Pennsylvania Unemployment Compensation and was employed as a Benefits Advocate with Mon Valley Unemployment Committee for the past two years. In her earlier years, she loved ballet dancing, and recently found enjoyment binge watching several shows on Netflix. One of her greatest joys was watching her sons play hockey and her daughter play basketball.
Donna is survived by her devoted husband Bryan James Swangler, her parents Robert and Jean (Magee) Pfitzenmeyer, four children, Bryan James, Jr., Jayson and Kaycee Swangler of Langhorne and Samantha Swangler of Bristol, PA, two sisters and a brother-in-law Debra and Ronald Steigerwalt of Falls Twp. and Janet Pfitzenmeyer of Levittown, a granddaughter Giada Devine, three nephews Anthony, Christopher and Logan and a niece Emily, his mother and father-in-law Harold and JoAnne Swangler, and brothers-in-law Rich, Ron and Rob (wife Cheryl) Swangler. Special thank you to cousin Mike and Coop for always being there.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her memorial service on Thursday, July 18, 2024 at 8 PM at the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, 41 W. Trenton Ave., Morrisville, PA 19067, where friends may gather from 6-8 PM.
