David M. McClellan, age 22, went home in peace to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 28, 2004. Born in Bristol, David had lived in Bensalem all his life. He was a graduate of Bensalem High School in 2000. David was the precious son to his parents George W. Sr. and Shirley McClellan; a loving father to Chase M. McCaully; and a loving brother to George W. Jr. and his wife Melissa, Steven and Mary Beth. He is also survived by his grandparents, many aunts, uncles and cousins. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass, which will be celebrated on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Grace Church, Penndel. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem. Calling hours will be private. Arrangements are under the direction of the James O. Bradley Funeral Home, Inc., Penndel. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations to Chase M. McCaully's education fund may be made to: Legg Mason, 1600 Market Street, Suite 1200, Philadelphia, Pa. 19103, to the attention of Louis Mosca. |

He was an alter boy at St. Ephrem's Parish in Bensalem, in the gifted classes from elementary through high school. Lost his way in high school due to drugs, and could never rebound. He was kind hearted, loving, generous and giving. David would have been an asset to the human race had it not been for the savage addiction that robbed him of himself.
