William Wasylenko

William J. Wasylenko, Jr of Philadelphia passed away suddenly Sunday, June 27, 2021, at Jefferson-Torresdale. He was 39 years old. Born in Philadelphia, William was a resident of Philadelphia for the last 12 years and was formerly of Bensalem. He worked as a mechanic for Mustang Stables for over 20 years. William enjoyed working on cars and spending time with family and friends, especially with his nieces and nephews, whom he adored. He was also a proud member of the William D. Oxley Post #133 American Legion, serving as the former commander for many years. William was the loving son of William J. and the late Rosemary T. (Carroll) Wasylenko. He is also survived by his 2 sisters: Lisa Bernardes (Victor) and Eric Peterson (Brian); His companion Donna Schlueter; His nieces and nephews: Angelina, Victor, Cassidy, Marcus, Jacob, Jordyn, Tegan and Kieran and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Thursday eve from 6 to 8 PM at the Tomlinson Funeral Home, P.C., 2207 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, PA 19020, and again Friday from 10 to 11 AM at St. Ephrem Church, 5400 Hulmeville Rd., Bensalem, PA 19020, followed by his Mass at 11 AM. Interment Private. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations in William’s memory to be made to the Gift of Life Donor Program, 401 N. 3rd Street, Philadelphia, PA 19123. William always believed in helping those in need and continued to do so after his passing by donating to the Gift of Life Donor Program. www.tomlinsonfh.com
