Michael was born on November 6th, 1948 and passed away on August 3rd, 2024 at the age of 75

Michael J. McGee, age 75, passed away on August 3rd 2024 surrounded by his family at his home in Feasterville, PA. Michael was born on November 6,1948, in Philadelphia, PA, to the late John B. McGee and Joyce Veronica (nee Burston). Michael attended Bensalem High School and went on to join the Sheet Metal Workers Local Union 19 where he began his career at age 17 at the Frankford Arsenal. Mike was a proud business owner of The Wegmann Corporation, and was known by many as a dedicated and caring boss. Michael was heavily involved in the Sheet Metal Contractors Association of Philadelphia where he served as a board member and president. His support and commitment earned him the Mel Wynn Award for Service to the Sheet Metal Industry. Mike also served as a coach and fan for his children’s soccer teams where he met some of his lifelong friends and enjoyed many laughs over the years at soccer tournaments and games. Michael’s most favorite activity was spending time with his family including the love of his life, his wife of 54 years, Patricia. Michael enjoyed gardening, golfing, renovating, remodeling but most importantly spending time with his beloved family in his backyard oasis. He is survived by his four devoted children: Michael W. McGee, and his wife, Michelle, of Southampton, PA; Kelly Benner and her husband, Scott, of Robbinsville, NJ; Shannon Daly and her husband, Jim, of Bensalem, PA, and Megan Heim and her husband, Michael, of Feasterville, PA. He is the loving Pop-Pop of Michael Patrick, Maggie, Rhianna, Cole, Sarah, Michael Carmen, Jack, and Arden. Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation Monday August 12th 9:30 AM at St. Christopher Church 13301 Proctor Rd. Phila., PA 19116. Funeral Mass 11:30 AM. Interment Private.
