George S. Renneberg, Jr

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of George S. Renneberg, Jr., who left us peacefully on Wednesday October 1, 2025, at the age of 63. Born on February 21, 1962, in Philadelphia to the late Esther (Whiting) and George S. Renneberg, Sr and was a lifelong resident of Bensalem.

A proud graduate of Bensalem High School, Class of 1981, George dedicated his working life as a forklift operator at Daniel C. Tanney Steel Co., where he was known for his reliability and strong work ethic. Beyond the workplace, George found joy in the simple pleasures of life—he loved spending time outdoors fishing and hunting, and he held a special passion for riding motorcycles, often sharing adventures with friends and family.

George is survived by his son, Shawn McCreary; his brother, Edward Ives (Terry); His step-son, Matthew and Billy Ellershaw and many loving nieces and nephews. George was also preceded in death by his sister, Esther “Peggy” . He will be deeply missed by all who knew him, and his memory will live on in their hearts.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation Saturday, October 11, 2025 from 9 to 10 AM at the Tomlinson Funeral Home, 2207 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, PA 19020, followed by his service at 10 AM. Interment Greenmount Cemetery. www.tomlinsonfh.com
