Obituary

With much love spread and many memories shared, our beloved James accepted his angel's invitation into the kingdom on Thursday, June 15, 2023 in Trenton, New
Jersey. As a result, our hearts are less bright but we know the heavens are filled with extra doses of love, joy, peace and laughter.

James Journigan was born on July 19, 1985 in Trenton, NJ. He graduated from Bensalem High School.

James was an employed at Waste Management in Ewing, NJ for 17 years.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Mary Anna "Pobie" Hodges Charles Ingram and Tonya L. Bethea; maternal grandfather Johnnie Journigan; great-grandparents, Julia Luberta Jamerson and Willie Will Jamerson; four uncles Jewel Edward Jamerson, Dewel Jamerson, James Journigan, and Edward Journigan; a cousin Joshua Paul Moore.

James leaves to cherish his parents Sezzeal and Terence Ingram, and James Hodges. His Maternal Grandmother, Luella Journigan. A brother Terence J. Ingram; a sister, Alysssa Hodges; his children Nyseria Journigan, James Journigan Jr., and Kamari Journigan; a host of aunts and uncles, cousins, friends and loved ones. 

Funeral service will be 1pm Monday, June 26, 2023 at Jerusalem Baptist Church, 150 N. Clinton Ave., Trenton, NJ 08609. Calling hour will be 12pm until the time of service. Interment will be at Ewing Cemetery, Ewing, NJ. Arrangements are by Hughes Funeral Home.
