Patrick J Smith, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle, passed away on July 29, 2024. Born on September 7, 1961, to the late John James and Tommie Smith, Patrick was raised in Cornwells Heights on the corner of Finley and Clovernook, aka “The Corner. He found joy in the simple pleasures of hunting and fishing, as well as indulging in his passion for Nascar and unwavering support for his favorite Philadelphia sports teams, particularly the Eagles.

Having completed his education from Bensalem High School in 1980, Patrick pursued a fulfilling career as a truck driver for over 40 years. His dedication and strong work ethic were second to none, earning him the respect and admiration of all who knew him. Patrick's zest for life and love for his family and friends were undeniable. He leaves behind a legacy of cherished memories and love.

Patrick is survived by his loving spouse, Bonnie Bencardino Smith, his children Danae Allie (Kern) and Patrick A. Smith (Jacquelyn), his siblings Michael Smith (Debra), Joseph Smith (Marilyn), and Bernadette Shaw, as well as his beloved grandchildren Jaycie Smith, Neveah Allie, Naia Smith, and Jaxton Smith, and his nephews, Roman and Kyle.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Visitation at the Tomlinson Funeral Home, 2207 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, Pa 19020 on Friday, September 6th from 6:00-8:00 PM and again on Saturday, September 7th from 9:00-10:00 AM followed by his Service at 10:00 AM. Interment will take place at Resurrection Cemetery. The family asks anyone attending to wear their favorite Eagles game day attire.
Patrick J Smith will be deeply missed by all those who had the honor of knowing him, but his spirit will live on through the memories and love he shared with his family and friends. May he rest in peace.
