Anita Carol Eppinger Hess, 78, of Landis Homes formerly of Manheim, went home to be with the Lord on Nov. 13, 2023. Born in Harmony, PA, she was the daughter of the late John Russell and Lillian Stanley Eppinger. She was the wife of the late Claude H. Hess who died in 2018.
Anita was a Registered Nurse serving as a missionary nurse in Haiti for over 25 years. She was a member of the Lake View Bible Church, Manheim.
She will be lovingly missed by: nieces, Melissa Schell, West Bloomfield, MI, Deirdre Crozier-McDonald, Scotland; nephews, Robert Eppinger, Langhorne, Patrick Crozier, Ireland; sister-in-law, Carol Eppinger, FL; step-son, Dr. J. Clair Hess, Lancaster. Anita was preceded in death by: brothers, Edward and John A. Eppinger; a sister, Sally Crozier.
The Memorial Service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2023 from the Lake View Bible Church, 383 Lakeview Dr., Manheim. Private Interment: Bareville Cemetery. Furman's Leola
