Schuyler C. Osterhout - Class Of 2005

Schuyler C. Osterhout

Schuyler Charles "Sky" Osterhout

Wednesday, April 8th, 1987 - Tuesday, January 16th, 2024

On January 16th, 2024, heaven received another angel, Schuyler Charles Osterhout. While he entered heaven way too soon for anyone’s comfort, he gifted his family and friends with the most wonderful 36 years possible. Sky was kind, witty, thoughtful, patient, hardworking, loving and all of the best things. He grew up in Bensalem, went to Penn State and lived in Philly after college. However, his life’s pride and joy was starting a family in New Jersey. He is survived by his incredible daughter, Adelaide and equally wonderful son, Luke, his wife, Alanna, who loved every piece of him, and a third child coming this summer. He also lives on through his mom - Diane, father - Richard, brother - Cody, sister-in-law’s - Alicia, Johanna, and Rebecca, brother-in-law’s - Isaiah and Raju and his mother and father-in-law - David and Maria Peet, all of whom loved him immensely. He was preceded in death by his brother Steven. Schuyler’s large heart also encouraged a plethora of animals, starting with his first soulmate, Penny, then adding Boo, Sparkle Unicorn and Daisy. Sky had many friends across school, jobs, and apartments that valued his loving, funny and dependable spirit. We will always cherish every moment with him, especially his first trips to Sicily, Washington, DC, the Superbowl with his dad last year, a month in Europe with his kids, and finally getting Eagles Season tickets after 14 years on the waiting list the same year his daughter was born. Sky - we will love you in all ways, always.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation, Tuesday, January 23, 2024, from 10 to 11 AM at Trinity Episcopal Church, 207 W Main St, Moorestown, NJ 08057, followed by his service at 11 AM. Interment will be private.
