Fredrick Weir - Class Of 1970

Fredrick Weir

Frederick A. Weir passed away peacefully Friday, Aug. 31, 2018, at home surrounded by his family. He was 65. Born in Abington, Pa., son of the late John and Helen Weir, he had been a Bristol Borough resident for the past 38 years. Mr. Weir was employed as a tree surgeon with Asplundh for 30 years and then owned his own tree service. He loved fishing, vacationing in the Poconos, coaching his children both in baseball and softball when they were younger, and was an avid Eagles fan, most especially his greatest joy were his children and grandchildren. He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Alice Weir; his children, Fred Weir (Kelly), Steven Weir (Kara), Kyle Weir (Ashley), Cory Weir (Laura), and Amanda Weir (Bill). He is also survived by his grandchildren, Dylan, Sean, Madison, Cory Jr., Ava, Nathan, Shane, Layla, Autumn, and Colton, along with his siblings, John Weir (Lisa), Judy Smith, and Tammy Moore (Mike) and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held privately under the direction of Wade Funeral Home, Bristol Borough. Fred was a character,always saying something funny. Knew him since grade school. RIP
