Mary Ann Neil (Durso) (1967)
So so sorry to hear of this loss ... Carmen was a special person even back in high school. She lived in Nottingham just like me. We were friends during our time in school. I spent time at her home. Her mom was a very special lady .. she taught us how to sing some songs in Spanish ... Again another classmate has gone. Let's try to live each day to its fullest ... you never know when its your last ~~~ Mary Ann Neil Durso

I remember Carmen and her mother well. Back to Cecelia Snyder. (Snider?) I had a crush on her for years and I suspect I wasn't the only one. A beauty lost 😢

Carmen and I did not keep in touch after graduation, but I will never forget her poise, her grace, and her beauty, which radiated from her beautiful soul. My deepest sympathies to her family and loved ones.

Ray E. Harkleroad (Harkleroad) (1967)
In 1966 or 1967 Carmen received a "life reading" from me - and I detailed it in my book where I described Carmen as "everybody's sweetheart", and indeed she was that liked and well respected. Carmen was given her vocation, awards, family, and even her married name. In vain I tried to reach her in Florida a few years ago but already knew I would be unsuccessful. Carmen's cousin is Tim Panaccio, the sports writer for the Philadelphia Flyers and an NBC Sportwriter as well. It was Tim who contacted me just shortly after Carmen's passing, and let me know the details of her life and the fact that her life had passed as projected. Tim had found reference to my chapter about Carmen on the internet. Even at age 16 or 17, Carmen knew her life would be abundant and rewardng. I am sorry to see Carmen gone and do wish that I could have talked to her but the time of one's passing is not our discretion. Just knowing that her life was joyful is knowledge enough. When the time is proper, we'll all journey to the other side and leave this life behind.
